Gary has inspired me to keep a journal of his crazy antics. When we adopted Gilbert, I couldn't imagine how much more the dynamics would change. These are my tales, the tales of Gary and his companion Gilbert.

New Phone App
Dan, my husband, downloaded a new app for his phone. Cat Sounds! Gary was going nuts! He runs up to me... looks at me worried then sniffed around to investigate. Dan hit the sound again & his ears went straight back! He walked over to Dan & sniffed around. He aggravated him so much that he couldn't find the "other cat." He sat in the window for the remainder of the night, keeping a look out. Ha!

New Toy from Family Dollar
Gary got a new toy from Family Dollar. Only $1, but loads of fun. He likes to lick the feathers. I think Gary thinks he's cleaning them... It's very strange to watch. Almost nurturing. I am curious, if I got Gary a pet what would he do? Like if I got him a hamster, would he lick it to death?

Gary, My hero
So my husband & I were goofing around & he threw me onto the bed and jumped on me. Gary, hearing my screams, came barreling down the hallway, charged into the bedroom to protect me. Ha! I have NEVER seen a cat do that before! Gary, my knight & shining armor. :)

Gary & the Box Top
This is a box top from a cool box I got from Ikea. Gary immediately jumped into the top to try to fit.
He tried for almost an hour to fit in his box top.
But I think, Gary thinks he smaller than what he really is!

There is only one
My cat is 4 years old, or so the vet estimated. I can't get him to eat anything else! He loves the Kitten chow & ONLY Purina.
I have even tried to mix the food, in hopes he'll learn to like it. Oh no, he ate AROUND the "bad food." I tried to hold out... he'll get hungry, right? Oh no, he went on a 3 day hunger strike.

Sleeping in the hallway
I come home & Gary is sleeping in the hallway by the door, again. Everytime I walk through that door, he stands up to greet me. It feels amazing to have this little animal so excited for me to come home. How could this cat love me so much?
