Buddies at Last!
Gary has always been a "touch me not" to everyone except me. He refuses to cuddle with Dan, the kids, even Gilbert. Gilbert has been trying desperately to cuddle with Gary, most times he can only get a paw on Gary before Gary will get up and move. But last night, something changed. :)
It was very cold in our little apartment last night. Gilbert curled right up to Gary on our bed. I awoke this morning & they were still cuddling on the edge of our bed. Gary let Gilbert sleep by him all night! Yay!
Gilbert is growing fast. He is a plump little beast. His belly is twice the size of his head. He huffs and puffs when he doesn't get his way. Gary has been more vocal than ever before, calling to the new kitty, wanting to play. It's adorable.
I am very pleased with how their relationship has grown. Gary has taken his role as Alpha with much pride and Gilbert is happy to learn from him.
