Fire spreads in downtown Wyandotte



Dan abd I are so devastated over the fire in Downtown Wyandotte!  We are deeply saddened at the loss of Lions, Tigers and Beers (LTB's).  We have had wonderful memories here, meetings with customers, eating with friends and family.  We pray for the all firefighters, policeman and volunteers involved.  Dan and I watched from inside Total Health Foods.  Total Health Foods is directly across from the blazing fire.  We saw so many firefighters from multiple cities teaming up together to keep the fire from spreading the other buildings in the downtown area.  It deeply touched my heart to see the cities of Ecorse, Allen Park, Trenton, Detroit, Rockwood, Southgate, Brownstown, Lincoln Park and Wyandotte cooperating to save our beautiful little downtown.  I have often thought as downtown Wyandotte as Downriver's Downtown.  Witnessing all of the Downriver communities banding together to fight this fire was truly moving.

Dan and I are concerned for the all local business owners that will be affected by this sad event.  We pray for a speedy recovery for them as well as the City of Wyandotte.
