Waking up to Demands

Gary woke me up this morning with his yarn in his mouth expecting me to play. When I went straight for the coffee instead, he pulled his yarn all the way down the hallway & sat in the hallway entrance with his string in his mouth waiting ever so patiently. Of course, I play string with him. I seem unable to refuse him when he looks like that at me.

I wish Gary was HALF as cool!

Growing Concerns

So Gary has a lump on his chin. It's growing. It went from a small pea size bump to a dime size in less than 6 months. What could it be? I really can't afford to take him to a vet. Should I be concerned? Is he sick & that's why someone took him to the pound because they didn't want to watch him die? I'm worried.

Gary has been sleeping in the hallway. It's in the middle our apartment. He wakes up every time I walk by.

It was hard to take this picture without him waking up! I had to tip toe very quietly. :)
