Oh Dear Husband of Mine,
I appreciate that fact that you are out and about trying to stir up some business for our company today. I know that it's been hard with me being in recovery and not being able to work at the normal pace that we do. And also, as business has been slow, I know that you being gone is vital to supporting ourselves and our responsibilities. I understand all of this and thank you for being such a loving, hard working husband.
~HOWEVER~
Your cat Gilbert is driving me NUTS today! Not only is he not taking his normal afternoon nap, he is grumpy, needy, and has been very vocal about his feelings today. He has been watching the door impatiently waiting for you to come home. Gilbert has been calling for you ever since you left. He will look to me, "Meeerrp?" he will ask. And for my response, "He'll be home soon. Go take you nap." This of course it followed by more meows, more merps, and more questioning from your cat.
This is adorable, right? Awww... Gilbert wants his buddy to be home. Awwww. This wore off fairly quickly when he would cry at me, then refuse to be soothed. I would pick him up, and he would jump out of my arms. I would bend down to scratch his ear, only to have him jump away from me with a loud explicit "GrrMMeeeoewm!" All right, Gilbert, I get it. I am not your human. I get it.
So this letter is for my loving husband, Dan Cataldo. So now I am requesting on this on behalf your cat, Gilbert. Dan, please come home.
Your Loving Annoyed Wife,
Stacy
